Description
A recently refurbished and updated Arp Axxe Monophonic Synthesizer from the mid-late 1970s. This particular synth is a later of 2 revisions. Although a fairly simple design it is an integral part of synth history with sounds employed by musical greats including Herbie Hancock, 808 State and Eat Static. Famous players of other ARP synths include Edgar Winter and Stevie Wonder.
Designed and built with ease of use in mind this synth has a great sound and useful features, such as CV, Gate and Trig jacks (1v per octave) all useful interface features.
This unit has had the following work undertaken:
- refurbished faders
- Tantalum & Aluminium electrolytic capacitors replaced
- keys re-bushed and re-greased
- full calibration as per the service manual.
- 2 facbricated replacement fader caps.
A great synth for the price.
